a refreshing addition to any table

This is one of my favorite #Turkishrecipies. It is called haydari and it is super simple to make and goes great with grilled meats and pilafs. Here is what you need:

prep time: <10 minutes

serves: 2-4 with other dishes

1 cup of plain, whole milk yogurt (preferably Kaymak but strained Greek Yogurt works perfectly)

3 cloves fresh garlic, crushed

3-4 sprigs of fresh dill, chopped finely

4-5 fresh mint leaves, chiffonade

1/2 tsp

salt and white pepper to taste

3 Tbsp really nice #oliveoil

  1. mix yogurt and garlic in a bowl

  2. add herbs

  3. season and add olive oil

  4. garnish with fresh herbs, sumac and a drizzle of olive oil
